Came home from a swim awhile back, feeling many of my muscles aching. Ache is good. I like physical aches.

Been thinking so much lately and I really fear that I will fall back into the crazily emotional me. There's no relationship thingy involved here, thank goodness for I definitely would be sucidal right now (kiddingggg). Friends, friendship has always been the problem. Now, and future.

This post is not making sense. I feel tired to really process what I'm feeling right now. All I can say is, I don't know whether to believe the words of friends anymore.

"It really hurts me for you to think otherwise about me."

Maybe it's the approaching of the end of school life in TP, or the fact that Vday is tmr, that is drving me crazy. I feel so uneasy.

P.S. What better day to go MIA for 24 hours than a day that I'm really dreading this year.

Constantly tired

The worse part of Sem 3.2 is over, where we had 2 pretty big submissions over our head that's due on the same day AND same time. The school is insane, all out to kill. Not to mention how me and the always-so-mild S nearly burst out that very day, thanks to.... But all is better now. Just crossing my fingers that I won't be so unlucky that..... But the chances are high. If I'm already irritated now, what about in the future. Can't even think about it oh goodness -facepalm-

That aside, had a R&R day with zee today and it was gooooood man. Do nails, cut hair, eat, walk around aimlessly, shop, don't have to rush to anywhere or do anything in particular. We also discussed about something we wanted to do for awhile and an idea has been formed! ;D So eggcited to get it started once exams are over and we're wayyyy free to arrange our time. Food, oh glorious food ^^ STSTSTSTST~~~

AND OH, got back my MA testpaper 02 and thank gooooooodness it rescued my marks quite abit. Thank You, for looking after me and listening to my prayers :)

Still very tired and my flu is making me feel like I've been crying lolz. Not to mention my cough is like more than 1 month already omg could it be TB?! *self-panic*

I've always found it very interesting when people assume/conclude from my words. I, myself, know who I am talking about and my tweets for example, may not even be for whoever is on my timeline. I just needed to vent, yo.

It's like, I left a pair of shoes on the floor for someone, and this other person comes along and wear it even though it may not fit. That person thinks it fits him/her, but it doesn't!

Really don't know what does it say about you when you kept thinking it's you I'm referring to. HELLO, you're not the only person I know right? Also, if I don't think you did a certain thing to me, but yet you think I'm angry over that certain thing you did, does it mean you actually did it?! (Sorry if this sounds confusing)

The number of people who 'confessed' their 'wrong-doings' to me, is amazingly quite a handful. Some I'm not surprised, some I'm just uhhhhhhhhh no you're very nice to me -__-'''

HAPPY FEBRUARY

5 tests, 1 quiz & 2 submissions. All in the month of January. WE PULL THROUGH OMG. Just 1 more month 1 more month 1 more month. I know it's too late to say this but I really gotta...

I'M ABSOLUTELY REGRETTING NOT STUDYING HARDER IN YEAR 1.

Yes yes, I'm in year 3 now. Too late for me. No more hope. But ahhhhh, had I known this is how I'll feel right now, I swear I'll do way better. If my results are better, there will be more paths I can choose from or even better, the opportunities will choose me. Local universities, they seem so far away from me. They say there's no such a thing as impossible, but NTU/NUS is really unattainable for me right now. My family's financial status is very average and my parents clearly don't care if I further my studies, so I have no college funds that I can fall back on that will put me through overseas studies. That's 2 doors closed for me. SMU, I'll apply and give it a try. With no CCA or other achievements, can I say that the chance of getting an interview is low, not to mention getting a spot in a highly sought-after uni? 2.5 doors closed.

This leaves me with SIM. No no, I'm not saying it's not good. In fact I like it's flexible hours and choices, and also with my diploma I can minus 1 year of studies which means I can graduate in 2 years. The condition is taking the bridging papers which cost $500 each (defo beats studying another year + 1 more year's school fees). This is for University Of London (UOL) and the one I chose is like a general business degree where you can choose the subjects you want to take. Most of the students in UOL will go to school for only 2 - 3 days a week and that sounds fantastic for me because it'll give me time to work. I prolly need to support myself and/or save up to pay of uni debt (bank loan is the way to go for me). The downside will prolly be a lack of what they call real school life. No hall activities, no fixed classmates (no tutorials I think), no school activities. I'm done quite abit of research as I know this will prolly be the path I'll be walking down. It's not quite exactly by choice but rather 'forced' by circumstances.

I really dislike how little or no choice I have with regards to my next biggest decision of my life, not even going for overseas studies because my family really can't afford it. I've done my research for it, went for the aussie universities fair, clicked on a gazillion websites to find possible ways of funding myself through subsidies or scholarships. Gut feeling tells me that I'll really love it overseas, but I. Can't. Afford. It.

This is always why I'm putting pressure on my brother in regards to his studies. I don't want him to be like me, having so few paths and feeling sore about it. I don't want him to follow my footsteps and be so full of regrets in the future.

Maybe, this is God's way of telling me that this is the path for me. That I want to believe. I am going to try to make the best of what I can do and already have. I am already fortunate enough that I can consider going to university.

Stop comparing to the more fortunate as there will always be somebody better. V, you gotta remember that. Make it work.

The top and skirt have been worn many times but the combi of adding them together, this is the first time. My oversized envelope clutch-bag (has a detachable inner pouch!) is one of my cny bags and the ring is also a new accessory. Lately I have a thing for red. Like today, reddish skirt, red bag and red shoes. It somehow brightens up an outfit when you add in a tinge of red, or alot of red. Guess this red fever is not going to die down anytime soon because a few red items just caught my eyes online *sly smile*

And yes yes, so many people have mentioned how long my hair has gotten. Even relatives will be wow-ed by the length of my hair. I wouldn't say it's very long, but yes it's kinda long hahahaha and I like it. I'll keep growing it till it's a huge burden to me, like maybe it'll threaten to dip into the toilet bowl when I pee or sth hahahahaha gross I know~ Then maybe, just maybe, I'll do something drastic to it.

My dark eye circles are really bad now, didn't know they're this bad till I saw the pictures like omg :( School is stressing all the year 3s and it's kinda killing me too. Bear with it!!!!! 27th Feb shall be the day we set free and like can really BURN everything, notes, books, tutorials, projects, just burn them all.

Actually, next week I'll give myself a break. Like 1 day. Or rather 1 night *winks winks* hehehe so excited!!!!!!

I just sacrificed abit of sleep to blog, because it's dying. And ah, got so much to say but I don't know if I can put them down into clear sentences. Or somebody else will mistaken me, again. Then create drama, again. It'll be too tiring for me and I really have no tiem or effort to deal with bullshit now. Yupp, guess it's just for me to know and for you to find out, eventually.

Studying for my law test right now, which will be later in the day, and my brain cells are protesting in silence. I'm already kinda angsty due to stress and now my plans are disrupted, again? There is no reason to make me change my plans AND not tell me about it until I ask. I mean, a close friend will know how that gets me off right? Totally pissed to the very max right now. Really cannot stand it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zzz ok need some time away from people who keep making me angry, like seriously.

Why do I even bother to be genuinely concern and constantly care for you, when I don't even get the least respect (again)? Put yourself in my shoes. Both of you. Just try. Even for once. Tell me again, why are we friends?

Comes with the chixxx (can choose breast meat or thigh), kang kong veg (fave!) and 2 pieces of beancake/tofu. AND the chilli that comes with it is DA.BOMB. My tolerence for chilli is mega low, yet the chilli is sooooo shiok that I hafta eat it with my rice, chixxx, veg and tofu until I'm totally tearing and having numb tongue & lips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes THIS shiok. The crispy crispy bits I also inhaled all in ^^

Ok school is totally draining and the load is building up, thus I didn't really go out much lately except for abit of CNY shopping (half done whoopwhoop~) and church on Sundays. No chance to take pictures :(

Instead of during my law tutorial or studying for my MA2 test on friday, I'm blogging. Wowowowow go me! Not..... Hahahaha I sound ding dong, maybe cause I'm tired. Today started out good, felt so happy and positive when I woke up, because it's Sunday! Sunday = church day = recharge my soul. But then my good mood was ruined, twice. I've been taking pride in better controlling my anger, so yeah I swallowed in. By the second time, I was really to my limit and couldn't take it. Usually my anger will get transform to tears so yeah...

Clearly my face was black and I wasn't even talking, doesn't that show something? All I needed was a "sorry", do I mean so little that I don't even deserve to have an apology?

Outfit for X'mas eve, was such a busy day of running around Siglap and Town, but dinz was good with the girls ^^ Will blog more about that soon.

X'mas day, amazingly enough, was a Sunday. God Daddy's birthday and we get to celebrate it at the place of worship. The turnout was insane, so glad I got a pretty okay seat despite being not too early. As usual, cried on a Sunday but was wayyy worse because it was so touching :')

Random pixxx of my first set of rings, like how I can choose to wear them all or just 1 at a time. This was my festive nails! Many said it reminds them of wrapping paper. Like it alot! But not it's like......... Hahaha time to rest my brittle nails and think of a set of CNY nails.

School has started and it's draining my energy. Feeling so tired, since 11pm. My body clock is back to normal. Long day tmr, goodnight!

End of 2011

Went to my End of 2010 post and saw how short and.... Uninspiring it was. Since I'm home on this NYE (tired and sick, meh~), shall do a slightly more elaborate one for this last day of the year.

It has been a CRAZY year. You cannot imagine how much I've gained and lost at the same time. I've learnt so much, yet managed to lose a part of me this year.

Gained new friends, some I chose to walk away from.

Kept in contact with so many of my friends, grew closer to some.

Dyed my hair multiple times.

Clubbed quite abit.

Fed my shopping habits till I think I've more than enough new clothes even for CNY 2012.

Ate truckloads of good food (sup food buddy!)

Started going to church.

Here are my 2010 resolutions for 2011:

Get the gadgets that I want (eg. BB & a semi-pro camera) HALF-DONE

Improve my GPA DONE

Go on a trip, at least once FAIL

Save up more $ FAIL

Advance in Boutife FAIL

Be a better person overall :) MAYBE?

Well, 1.5 outta 6 is not that bad right??? Hahahaha who am I kidding.

So, my new year resolutions for 2012 are:

Take care of scalp & hair (HAHAHA sorry this is really important for me)
Stop spending so much & start saving for uni school fees
Study harder
Stop being such a procrastinator
Treasure my last 7 months of being called a teenager
Be closer to God
Continue to strive hard in being a better person!

Sounds pretty attainable to me ^^ Hope I can acheive at least 4 of them.

Went to church yesterday for the NY service whooootz and Pastor told us to bring forward 3 wishes and I did. Surprising, these 3 wishes are none of the above :O I think it's because what I really wish for are things which are kept inside my heart, deep down inside and I'm unwilling to share heh.

The more you want something, the greater the expectations you have for it. But when your expectations far exceeded what reality has for you, the disappointment is insane. Maybe it's you, maybe it's me. We all have changed and maybe I painted a scenario too beautiful. I thought you were still that same person, but apparently you are not? Could be the influence of your friends, or just the status you had that overwhelmed you and made you this way. Still nice, but not totally nice anymore. That bit of asshole-ness in you, I really dislike it.

Not sure what I even expect from you in the first place, but clearly I've made a mistake. I always take pride in treating people the way they treat me, so you know what to expect. This bit of bitterness, I need time to wash it away.

Doubt you'll even get to read this, but I really need to get it off my chest. Can't really say this to anybody anyway.

This was my outfit for last Sunday! Every Sunday, I'll try to dress up for church.

As many have noticed, yes I'm wearing coloured contacts! It's been a couple of years since I last wore a pair. It's in grey and so far, still loving it ^^ got it for $19 at this optical shop beside CPF Macs. My eyes look super 'awake' even when it's not so 'opened' thanks to them hahahaha ;)

When I was young, Century Square still had an outlet of Kenny Rogers and I rmb going there quite frequently. It closed down and I haven't eat it since. Until last Sunday before church where me and Zee will usually have lunch at Suntec/RC, I suggested we go there. The corn muffin is as awesomely yummy as ever (but urgh didn't get to finish mine because there was a long stick-ish thingy in my muffin which lead us to thinking is it cockroach leg URGH) but the rest of the food is just, meh~ Like their signature roasted chicken is so dry and tough and tasteless. The sides where pretty normal, and we didn't understand why did so many people highly recommended the mac&cheese. I don't mind giving it one more try because I really like the corn muffin T.T

My week

Let me recap the past couple of days hmmmmm.

Monday - My FIRST time being so crazily late for work. My usual work timing is from 11am and guess what time I woke up..................... 12noon. Winner! I must have deactivated my 830am alarm and went back to zzz. Started shouting when I opened my eyes and say 12noon omg. Panicked like crazy, try to inform as many colleagues as I could and got down at 2pm. It takes me 1hr+++ to travel down. Apparently it was reallllyyyyyy busy when I wasn't there, gahhh so guilty :(

Tues - Work, busy unpacking all the stuffs that was blocking the lane in between shelves.

Wednesday - Work. Left at 6pm instead of my usual 7pm. Chionged home, prepared, grab stuffs, out the house, everybody all late, Butter, massive crowded, spent most of the time squeezing through the crowd, not high at all, and some other stuffs. Left before 2.30am which has never happened before. And poor cab uncle, must be thinking these girls crazy one sia how come after clubbing become like that..... Got home, whatsapped many peepz, something I didn't know surfaced, confused and all. I think I had high expectations for Wednesday so when it didn't meet what I expect, it just sucks big time.

Thursday - Woke up not too late, went out then evening met up with my primary school palz! We had a pretty awesome time and Sheena only joined us for movie. Catch up soooooo much but it seems not enough? Steph went home even before the movie. Was supposed to go home after Shelock Holmes (which is pretty interesting btw!), but I said I'm still very energetic so we all went to Pasir Ris Central to talk more. We stayed out till 330am hahahaha and it kinda wasn't enough ya know. Even though only a few of us made it, but it already brought back so much memories and we got to know each other better like what went on for the past few years when we kinda totally lost contact. Had SOOOOO much to talk about! The common friends we know, quite scary too, like we're all linked in some way or another. It's my best day of the week, totally made up for my lost wednesday. Looking forward to meeting them really soon ^^ (totally smiling to myself now hahahaha)

Friday (today) - Considered that fact that I slept at near 5am because I really couldn't sleep and had to wake up at 830, I survived work and even done some last min gift shopping in town (goodness the crowd was insane!!!!!!!) and ended up buying stuffs for myself again HAHAHA #phail. Many items in H&M caught my eyes and they were relatively affordable like $30 max? But I controlled myself and only got 1 item :(

5 more mins to X'mas eve and I'm gonna be having a busy day tmr oh gosh.... Have to travel to quite a few places. But X'mas dinz at night with the girls whootzzzzzz ;D

It's interesting how this person can influence me THIS much when we're not even like reaaaallllllyyyyyyy good friends (yet. Or more. I choose to believe that.) but has already brought so much good influence in my daily routine lately. It's like, there's this secret force of motivation! A really really good motivation. I'm just improving, willingly. Taking care of myself better, able to cool down more quickly, smile more etc etc. This must be God's way and sign, giving me so much new-found hope and positivity. The day after Butter, last thursday. Ruiling planned a surprise for Boon and all his buds were in cahoots with her. She brought him to Al Forno at East Coast, where we were allthere, pretending it was surprising to see him there and what a coincidence we are dining at the same place hahahaha!

I'm sure everyone has their thoughts regarding every single person or issue they face. Sometimes these thoughts will be based on the current situation and other times, the thoughts will be based on the possibilities of the future. The thoughts that one's mind generate, is lethal. We can be hurt just by our own emotions, with no second party is involved, we inflict emotional pain onto ourselves.

What about the feelings you have for a person? Yes, it can affect how you view the person, the current situation that involves this person and the possibility of a different status in the future with this certain someone. When what you want, meets what you expect, meets what you get, you'll have a perfect ending. Or better, yours matches his/hers. Any other combination is just, screwed up.

The pressure to perform, to impress, to let one have good feelings for. It destroys what is good about you and you may not know whether you're being liked for your efforts or just for being you, you. We try to be that perfect somebody who will be perfect for who we perceive as perfect in our eyes. Don't we realise that being liked for not being us, it will all turn out to be misery? We try and try and try. Way too hard. Lose ourselves. Attempt to recover. Start trying harder. Fall again. Lose more of ourselves.

Will I get my perfect outcome one day? Not now, not next month, not next year, not soon, but eventually?

Went to Empire State Cafe (think it's called cafe) at Iluma, the food level (think level 5?) to nomz. Supposed to go to Torte BUT it was not open for dinner on a Tuesday night >:( Craving for brownie since like 4evaaa, die die also must eat it by that day. So yupp, went there for dinz with lyj.

She ordered the pasta with dua meatball and I got this parmesan fish with mash. Requested for no salad then they added on to my mash potato to like a mini mountain. Then the sauces are all given separately so it looked super bare when served. Couldn't finish the mash and the sauce (refer to the bowl with brown stuff) was wayyyyyyyy too much. Not too bad though! As for the brownie, we were soooo stuffed but yet we still ate it up hahaha #gluttonsareus.

Last Tues, Thai food @ Sunshine Plaza with Shushen :) I swear she can read my mind or sth. Was reading this blog and wanted to try the thai food that was mentioned. Then the next day, I was asking her where should we go for dinner and she suggested the exact same thai food place! Hehehe no wonder she's my friend ^^ I really in love with Green Curry, craving for some now~~~~ Btw do try it okie, it's affordable Thai food which is not bad but I know Nakhon has a wider variety (which I eat). Sunshine Plaza is in bugis btw. Don't be a noob like me and thought it's in the west side hahahaha. &&& Gave her a small treat of apple strudel, was craving for 'ang mo' dessert so badly.

Never really was a Christmas person as I grew up in a Buddhist family. However, this year, I suddenly have this urge to do something special for myself and my friends. Just around an hour ago, I had this idea of making some gifts for the friends around me! Of course I'm not rich enough to get something BIG for everyone but I'll do/get something that is meaningful and maybe useful?

So excited as I've some plans in my head!!!! :) I think everybody's one will be slightly different as different people mean different things to me, so a generic gift just doesn't seem to work. Gonna take me abit of time but I hope I can finish most before the hols. Whoooopeeeee~~~~~~~~~ ;D

Arbite Round 2

Jer wanted to try out Arbite and I wanted to go back to try their handmade pasta and so I did! Took us awhile to decide what we wanted to order. She got the Arbite Breakfast (read my previous Arbite post to see what's in the breakfast set) and I got the Pappardelle with Mushrooms and Parma Ham (also includes spinach and it's cream sauce with a drizzle of truffle oil). Pappardelle is their handmade pasta, freshly made daily I think. It's goooood but personal preference, I don't really like the parma ham as the cream sauce was quite flavourful and having parma ham is just wayyy too salty to my liking.

A pity I don't get to try their homemade brownie as this jer say she too full :( But I'm sure there will be a round 3 in the future!

SO EGGCITED TO TRY A NEW PLACE TO EAT TMR ;D ;D ;D With my food buddy~~~~~~

Tried on many times by many different people, all they said were suitable and comfortable. They will think about it, still wearing it on their feet at the same time. Walking around the store, trying it on to further test the comfort and height, at the same time contemplating whether to bring it to the cashier. Some was this close to sealing the deal. Yet, nobody is willing to buy it home because the price is way too high for it. Day after day, more and more people try it on and felt the same. Until one day, the price tag has faded, the soles are worn out and the interior of it stained by many different feet. It will be thrown to the sales section, or worse thrown to an outlet store, where it will be treated the same again and again. Then maybe, if it's lucky enough, somebody will buy it home. If luckier, treat it like a pair of treasured gems or for worse, worn without care and thrown away maybe after as little as one wear.

The sad fate of a pair of wonderful shoes, but ain't many just like that too?

That's how my emotions go. 1 minute I'm happy, next minute I'm pissed then slide to sadness, then I'm back to happy again. People who read my tweets prolly think: This girl is nuts in the brain or she has some anger management! Like the tweet "@hoppypoppyz: My level is sinner RT @Raynorchia: Anger management. Level : Saint." yupp, I totally can't be irritated or angered, because I'll prolly blow up. I'm also no good with head-up arguement/confrontation, so I'll prolly vent like crazy on twitter until I calm down. Depends on the seriousness of issue, I will either forgive (never forget), go talk to you about it, or just cut you off. Usually the first way of handling things is preferred for me.

Don't ever put words in my mouth/accuse me. It totally gets my temper rising and I'll prolly bear a grudge for as long as I can remember. I don't name names and if you think it's you, it's probably with a guilty conscience because you fit the person I was describing/scolding (and I'm not referring to anybody here, as usual). For the umpteen times to y'all, don't talk to me like I owe you anything because I don't and apology should be done with sincerity and not used to throw in my face.

Old friends are the best! They know what kind of person I am and know how to handle me. They know what I like and what I don't like, what kind of attitude I take and what gets me angry, and most importantly they respect me and are not rude to me. They don't ever talk to me like I owe them anything and are concern about what's going on with me. Of course we will get angry with each other, but nothing drags over a day everrrr. My baobeiz may not be my old friends but they are also like that to me, which is why I love them too.

Looking through all the pictures, I really miss doing stuffs for Boutife. MISS IT SO VERY MUCH. I wanna cry right now :'( :'( :'( No matter how difficult things were, I pushed on because I'm really happy doing everything for it. Things were difficult while handling school, work and Boutife. BUT I NEVER GAVE UP. Now it's just......

I wanna go for photoshoots, edit pictures, reply emails, mail out packages, seeing items selling out and getting feedback from friends and customers about each collection. Really miss it so. damn. much.

It may still only be single digit in the number of collections, but to me it was everything. Something I can say I started and owned. I really owe it to Zhijun and Shiying for helping me without wanting anything in return. I mean really, they don't earn anything yet they give it their all to come for photoshoots, being excited about the launches, buying clothes from Boutife and helping me to promote. You have no idea how I grateful I am to have them to help me fulfil this dream of mine, making it a reality. I started it 1 year ago, and I had higher expectations of it but really, I should be contented.

Looking at other blogshop launching new collections so regularly, it just makes my heart frigging ache.

Last tuesday, finally meet up with my pretty baobaiz @Happyyyt for our brunch. The night before, this blur girl came to scare me by saying that Arbite's all-day brekkie only available on weekends. Both of us panicked until I watched this video that interviewed Arbite and the owner said breakfast is "All day, everyday"!

So yupp, we headed down to Serangoon and I think I'm insane to always travel far away just to try new food (In case you don't know, I stay in Pasir Ris. A supposed far ulu place -___-). It's quite easy to find, just right above Guardian and opposite the Serangoon Gardens bus stop. It's not a very big place. We went around 12pm and we're the second group of customer. Practically had the place to ourselves :) The ambiance is good, I like white walls as it'll make the place look clean and spacious (then it really is).

Both of us picked the same item - Arbite's Breakfast! It's big and filling - Scrambled eggs, bacon, baked beans, grilled tomato, veal bratwurst, sauteed mushrooms, pommes noisettes. Mmmmmhmmm~ ^^ Guys and girls will all luvvvvv it. Not to mention, I like the strawberry milkshake! Perfect meal on a weekday.

Heard that it's pretty crowded on weekends, but still really worth trying REALLLLLLYYY. Heard that they handmake their pasta (!!!!), so you know who will be going back there soon enough ;)

Going there bring back secondary school memories, every single time. Kept going there in the past because it's in simei.

This time round with my bbz for late dinz and as usual I order cheese bake rice with red-white sauce and 3 toppings! Sy had the same but in mango sauce (tried abit and it felt like I'm eating dessert) and we also ordered a Beef Chilli Nacho fries to share. Full-die-us. Not to mention student meal comes with ice lemon tea and choc icecream~

Prolly will go try other stuffs from there soon, they have a new menu!

Then I remember years back, what a good friend you have been for me. We were pretty darn close and you never fail to make me laugh an idiot. Especially when I was feeling all shitty. I don't remember you losing your cool on me or anybody, always there with a toothy smile which is mega contagious. In fact, you're one of my longest friend that I can remember. Last wednesday, me and foodie partner went to Old Airport Road hawker for dinz and Lao Ban tau huey (yes again). And you can see, we went abit insane hahahahah chionged for it! Then we delivered 2 of it to d's house and yupp, she like it too (even her mum who doesn't eat tau huey, wiped 1 out).

Last saturday, lunch with my baobaoz at Suntec pizza hut after sip thingy in school and before sy go for work. Finally I got to eat that pizza thingy with the cheese dip and awesome filled crust! Yumzzz and not to mention the spicy drumlets *drools a puddle*, super shiok max.

On tuesday, me and @Happyyyyt went for brunch. After brunch, we wanted to travel back to the east side but got lost and ended up at amk hahahaha that bad girl decided to skip her only 2 hour lec (which she's already late for) and we went shopping ^^ Above are my loots! First pair of red shoes, awesome F21 shorts ($9 only!) and top which I wanted for awhile, and also the bb charger.

And yes! I'm on Instagram~~~ Random decision to join it, too bored last night. Follow me @hoppypoppyz, I can only update when I'm home though. Because I'm using it from my itouch, and now considering to get an iphone (but at the same time using my bb which means 2 phones) because of the camera apps and all. I'm not really into the games apps (like the recent craze on Temple Run or sth), so it's the coupon apps & blogging apps etc which attracts me the most. So, maybe, Iphone soon! Or, a new itouch :)

Nakhon Kitchen thai food + Lao Ban dou hua

Last friday, I went to try Nakhon Kitchen @ Bedok. It's one bus stop away from bedok interchange, I took bus 69. They have another branch in Hougang. Apparently it's very famous and always super packed! We gan jiong spider, reached around 5pm when they open for dinz at 5.30pm. It's worth it to wait for awhile, as the food was served to us very quickly, all just cooked :D Plus no queuing for us.

Thai milk tea! Missed it so much, I spammed it EVERYDAY when I was in Bangkok~

Pineapple fried rice! Real good man, not too sweet and we couldn't stop eating it.

Fried spring rolls! Freshly fried~ Hot, crispy and savoury.

Thai green curry! Looks harmless but quite spicy for non-spicy eaters, but even I couldn't stop eating it. The chicken is really tender and the vegs were all soaked with the curry. Mmmmmhmmmm.

We like a gian peng sia hahahah this seafood fried rice was so-so.

Then is glutton lyj (after dabao-ing mango glutinous rice from Nakhon) suggested we go for Lao Ban, so we chionged down to Old Airport Road Hawker Centre cause damn scared sold out sia!!

Being single is okay

I've been single for a reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyy long time. I don't deny, whenever I see sweet couples around me, I wish I can have what they have. I wish there's this person who I can count on for everything. I wish there's this person who can tell me everything will be fine when I encounter problems in life. I wish there's this person who will tell me good morning and good night everyday. I wish there's this person who I can totally pour my heart to. I wish there's this person who understands me better than myself. I wish there's this person who will hold my hand and tell me he loves me.

But certain things can't be forced. You can't just fall in love with this guy and expects him to feel the same way. Or even if you do fall in love and the feeling is mutual, you can't put all your expectations on him and automatically he will be the prince charming of your life. Different people, different encounter. Some people find their soulmates early, some people find their soulmates right now, some people thought they found their soulmates but it's a mistake, and some just have to wait patiently.

I know many girls feel the same way as I do: "What if I never ever find The One? What if I'm gonna spend the rest of my life alone?" This feeling is heightened when you see your friends around you soaking in essence of love and bliss. You'll start asking yourself, "what am I doing? Why am I alone? Am I not trying hard enough? am I so hard to love?" etc etc etc.

Sometmes, your heart had been broken so many times and your feelings had been toyed with countless times, you just decided not to make the effort anymore. For me, I've decided to just leave things to fate. I don't want to find myself falling head into heels in love and then being told that I was just putting too much effort on my side. Also, rushing into creating a possible relationship willl just turn out to be a mistake. Everytime I feel that this guy may be Mr Right, I will plunge my head into it without further considering the consequences. And may I say, how stupid of me.

I truly believe that there's always The One for everybody, it's just when and where. Being single is very OKAY. In fact, being single just proves that you are fine being yourself. You may not enjoy the singlehood and wish to find your another half soon, but this doesn't push away the fact that you ARE surviving. Some people do better than the rest, but you are alive and kicking. Nobody can do without another person. It's just a mental thing.

Of course, being part of a relationship is awesome, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy singlehood. Imagine all the freedom you have and all the obligation you don't have to give, you can go all wild and crazy. One day you will definitely wanna have a person to lean on, and until that day comes when you have that person, being single is okay. In fact, very okay. :)

Always envy of those people who hang out as a big big group all the time as doing things seemed more fun, until I realised how lonely they can get and will turn to friends outside their circle. Who can say for sure how many people in that group is truly concerned about you? Who will have your back for sure when you really need support?

Then I came to realise, I don't need many many friends. I am already blessed enough to have these few people in my life who makes an effort to stay in it. I know they will be there for me just like I will too, for them. Learning to be more thankful day by day. Lesser complaints, more appreciations.

I know many of my friends has this top, but I think I'm the only one with it in red ^^ I like chiffon tops as it's flowy, and this top is goooood because the back is longer than the front and it's slightly batwinged.

Read about this new jap curry place on a food blog - CocoICHIBANYA (hope I got the name correct) which is at the basement of 313 where there's a food galore. Being a foodie and knowing LYJ is one too, I asked her to go with me to try it out.

One point about them is that you can choose the level of your curry, from 1 - 5! Pretty good for those who don't like a generic spiciness for their curry (i.e. some like it mild, some like it POW WOW hot) but not a big deal for me. The 2 curries we ordered didn't allow us to choose the curry level and I think because there's a certain curry level that is suitable to match with omelette. The pork cutlet was absolutely tasteless and to touch to bite, one of the worse I've ever eaten. The omelettes were soft and tender, perfect match with the curry. The mushroom sauce is good, seems to be a good combi with the curry too. The curry had a tinge of spiciness which was really very acceptable. I like the idea of adding your own amount of milk and sugar syrup into the iced milke tea (but no diff for us as we poured everything it hahaha).

I think I'll go back there to try their curry hash beef or the seafood ones. Hope it's not as disappointing as the prok cutlet!

For dinz, I meetup with Zee again and went to parkway for my fave ban mian at the hawker centre! But she managed to convince me to try the one at Roxy Square, opposite PP. It was not bad, but I still think I like it dry and still having a major craving for the one at the hawker centre~~~

Oh, I did some shopping (yes again pfffftttttt) at 313. And can you believe it I actually bought 2 same items as LYJ when our styles are reallyyyyyyy different?! The polka dot top and the skirt (in a diff colour). I'm also loving knitted top as it's perfect for a lazy day. I grabbed the nail polish and lip gloss just before I was paying at the counter as I realised I was short to 2 chops on my discount card for F21. But TADAH! I did it and next purchase it's 20% off hehehehehehe can't wait to go make a killing. Still waitng for my pay cheque, whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :'(

Wore this out last week, to meet lyj in town. I really like this top, and I vaguely rmb me tweeting about it ages back, saying how this top makes my arms look skinneh ;) As for the skirt, a pretty good deal from H&M and the only way to see if it fits is to measure on me (the queue for the fitting rooms was insane, when the store just opened) and thank goodness the zip goes all the way down so I could 'open' it up to wrap around me HAHAHA! I did it at the corner of level 2, how glam hur?

On that same day, I popped into F21 and managed to stop myself from getting this gorgeous leopard print maxi skirt. My heart is hurting just by thinking about it..... But I got the above items, especially in luvvv with the big leopard print pouch. Finally gotten something to fit all my makeup, after putting them in the F21 plastic bag for quite awhile. And yes, I super major hearts anything in leopard preens ^^

Talking about F21, all the yellow spots are mostly F21 plastic bags. I can say, I've more than 20 of them and some I've already given away during meetups with buyers etc. I'll usually fold them neatly and stuff them into this other plastic bag, tgt with my New Look bags (alot of them too) and other brands.... I always like to say that I buy F21 stuff to collect their plastic bags, weird hobby or what.

This other day, went to try out Chicken Pot at Bedok Point. It was always full and there'll be a long queue outside. Even on last thursday that we went, there was a long queue. Luckily Zee went earlier, and got us seats. We took the couple set which had the above to pots and 2 rice. But when we went to pay for the meal, we got a shock at the prices. Maybe because of the GST and service charge they included.... Not too bad, will go back to try other pots. Oh, they also have side dishes such as golden mushroom, which you can add into the pot. Have to pay though (expected~).

Anyway, I'm so pleased with the new blogger interface (yes I just changed to it, think it has been here for awhile) as I they have this option where you can choose to leave your pictures in their original sizing which means bigger pictures! The old blogger has 3 picture sizing options, even their large is still pathetically small. So yeah, thank goodness for this! I don't have to use flikr or photobucket, so mafan. Not to mention, there's alotttttt more white space now, which makes the whole site more professional looking. I think I'm going to enjoy blogging more :)

I hope my anger can subside soon. But really, the thought of you asshole, boils my blood. I mean, you are not good looking enough yet always demand the attention of pretty girls who are clearly off your league. A few things I understand so far:
1. Not everybody truly wants to be your friend, some just need you for a task they need to complete
2. People who seem to care about you can either be a) Really concern, b) Just curious what's going on with you, or c) Test if you're talking about them
3. Never give anybody your heart, no matter how much you trust the person. You'll need something to hold on to when all else falls apart.
4. Appreciate the good times, and pray the bad times ain't that ugly.

The old me would have kicked up a fuss (I know I've already done that on twitter, but irl I've not done anything. Yet.) and make sure everybody knows who that person is. The old me would have spreaded his name so fast and far, that it will catch him off guard. The old me would have scolded him, curse and swear right in his face and confront him. But, that's the old me.

The current me is just venting out on twitter/blog, talking my friends how upset I am and crying to myself. The current me actually refused to tell some people his name because I'm trying to reduce the extent of things. The current me still can reply him calmly and bite back the urge to reply "FUCK OFF BASTARD". The current me feels that it's my fault for letting this happened. Because, I'm weak & always play nice & no guts to make things ugly & always feel that people genuinely want to be my friend. Yet that is not the case, because it seems that I'm not good enough to be me. I have to be attached with a purpose or usage, before people take notice of me.

In the most common scenario, I have attractive pretty friends. Many.

Do you have any idea this is the nth time that something like this happened?

Notice that my pretty friend is hanging out with me (the ugly one), decided I was an easy target to start with, get to know me, start to get closer to me, dig information out from me about my pretty friend that he has more interest in, I willingly give it to him because he is nice to me, unknowingly put a good word for him/help pull the strings, no matter if he succeed or fail he will drift off because I AM OF NO USE ANYMORE.

My guard is down if somebody is nice to me because I will definitely give back the same amount of niceness, if not more no less. I let them in, they suck me dry, I thought it's all good, then one day POW! they are gone. Hurt and upset and nothing I can do.

I'm so done, but that is what I say everytime this shit happens. Yet nothing is stopping the people to do shit to me, making use of me, take advantage of the information I have....

Kudos to all of you bastards.

Well, if you follow me on twitter, you'll know what is this major thing going on in my life now. Yes, my father got retrenched by his asshole-of-a-company. How was he informed? Verbal. Any letter or proper reason issued? None. Compensation he received? None. How many years has he worked for the company? 18. All I can say say is FUCK THEM. FUCK GOLDEN SUCCESS JEWELLERY PTE LTD. May your newly hired china young cheap workers (if any) screw up every single order and expensive jewels you have, and the boss, may you get all the retribution you deserve for treating all the employees this way just because they are old and slower. If this is a case of forced 'early' retirement so that you can escape the pension payments, fuck you. I'm hoping the current MOM officer I've approached will be able to help me with exposing this fucked up cheapo company.

My first thought was, what if I've to postpone my university plans for next year? Or what if this family is gonna spilt because mother will not tolerate a jobless father and bound to get a divorce for sure after dragging for years. So I prayed, prayed so hard to God. I think He heard me, and the next day my father kinda found a job which is more of a trying out first. I mean, he has been in the same company and doing the same thing for the past 18 years. It's gonna be tough for him to go out into the labour market again. Yet, like my brother mentioned to me, he does seem happier and in a lighter mood. Maybe it's God's will for him to get laid off, maybe it's better.

I just need to work harder from now onwards, get more work experience so that I can fend for myself and even for my family in the near future. I'm practically on my own soon and can only rely on me and myself. And of course, God.

Went on a small small blog break, because I've been busy AND lazy AND handling shit.

New found fave food at FEP level 5 - Claypot mee *slurps*

My hair dye faded abit, so it's brownish now but still darker than before.

Finally went to Kim's with the girls! Been there many times and I can tell you if you like korean food and looking for authentic ones, TRY IT OUT. 12 side dishes on free-flow (used to be 14 though), big portions for the meat and all taste really good. Not to mention, it's affordable. That's why I keep going back even though it's at Bukit Timah (I stay in pasir ris), the time to travel there is worth it. Just take note that it's closed on Mondays. And quote myself "How I wish the meal never ends." Yupp, that good. Everytime I'll leave the restaurant feeling so satisfied :D and oh, one of the owners (i think) is looks and is korean, but the way he spoke english, super singaporean that I got a shock!

Wake me up when September ends~~~ SO WAKE UP WAKE UP.

On Saturday, I met up with lyj and we took bus 67 from tampines all the way to Bukit Timah road. More than an hours of a ride, rotting asses, hungry stomaches, sleepy heads and we kept laughing at retarded signboards of shop houses. "Gay World Hotel", "Thai-tanic" etc etc hahahahaha!

Finally we got to Hatched at 26 Evans Road. I think they changed their menu though, seems like lesser variety as the one shown on their website. I forgot the exact name, but we ordered this scrambled eggs with chicken sausage & the other dish is poached eggs with 2 different kind of sauces and meat. Both weren't too bad but the scrambled eggs was kinda disappointing :( The poached eggs was reallyyy good! Especially with their muffins, mamamia yumz~

We paid $17 a person, sharing both of the dishes. Do give it a try if you are looking for all-day brekkie with eggs and more eggs. Personally, I don't think I'll go back anytime soon.

This lyj has been telling me about 3 Inch Sin and since it's within walking distance of Hatched, why not? ;) We ordered their signature 6 inch molten cakes - Original & Hazelnut. See the ooooooozzzzing lava choc when we poke open it *drools* The original one is more of a dark chocolate and pur-fect with vanilla ice cream. I prefer the hazelnut one though, taste like Kinder Bueno :D Sweeter too.

It's $6 for one molten cake and $3/scoop to add on ice cream! Take-away of 4 cakes is $20, more worth it. They have other flavours too and other cakes. I'm dying to try their Peanutbutter flavour! You'll see me going that soon soon soon ;D

My shoes make this clink-clink sound with every movement I make, thanks to the 2 pieces of metal. I call them the "dog-chain shoes", totally sounds like somebody is walking their dog.

This is what I wore to meet my bosses. Everybody started at 8.30/9/10/11am today. Guess what time mine was, 2.30pm and it ended at 4pm. Wowowowow IKR. Explains why I didn't dress up more, this isn't my best.

Anw, this post marks my first OFTD - OutFit of The Day ^^ It's a mini motivation to liven up the 3 months of SIP, something that me & zee came up with. Well, this will be guddd if I've a proper SIP, having to go the office daily. BUT. My SIP is quite different, after my meeting with the bosses I realised what a different 'working' life I'll be leading. I can choose how my working schedule will be like, with more free time on hand at home. If not I'll be running around, out and about. Doing some market research, independent work pretty much. Very very very flexible, I loike :> But it also means I've to make sure I stay on the target set for myself, meeting my own deadlines, being absolutely on track to make sure nothing screws up. It's making me really nervous yet excited at the same time, I get to really apply the things I've learnt in school in both HRM & Corpcomm terms.

I'm feeling so... Different & adult-ish. And it feels like alot of trust is being laid upon me. I like it :)

May not have as many days to be outside my house, but I'll defo try to dress up on those days and complete at least 30 days of OFTD within the SIP period. Not that my dressing is fantastic or anything, it just keeps my blog alive~

Friends, push on for SIP!!!! Come to think of it, it's ONLY 11+ weeks. We shall meetup soonish for dinz/catchups/shopping alright? xo fer y'all~

Been spending quite abit (as usual), so guilty :/ Spending all my own money, I seriously am envious of friends who can get moolahs from parents to spend on extra stuffs. That is totally not possible for me, been financially independent (the food/transport not included) for extra stuffs since Sec 3? Even school stuffs. Anywayz, the plastic/paper bags are totally stacking up at this corner of my room and I don't have enough hangers to hang or space to stack them. CLOTHES EVERYWHERE. It's a Sunday night but past 12 midnight so it's technically Monday morning. So yeah, good morning! I'd a pretty okay Sunday, shopping around & eating yumz food. This coming week there's some things to (kinda) look forward to.

1. Shopping again tmr and Tuesday
2. Internship starting on Wednesday
3. Dye my hair on Friday?
4. Start of a 30-days challenge on this blog
5. New outfits, just for internship
6. More shopping this weekens!

Nervous yet excited at the same time, gonna be this 'full working' adult for 3 whole months! No school, no projects, no tutorials, no exams~~~ Definitely will be a mini test to see if we're cut out for the corporate world. Also waking up at early in the morning, working 8 hours or more, only have weekends free and defo TGIF for the next 12 weeks. I just hope I'll learn alot of new stuffs and my bosses don't kill me. I think I'm pretty lucky, 10AM - 6PM and my pay is quite substantial ^^

Can't get to sleep, don't feel like watching dramas, hopped to all my usual blog reads already.

Lately things have been easier. Lesser moodswings, mind more blanked out, easily satisfied, stop feeling so much. Started following a certain routine or pattern. Realised how horrible I was in the past, suffocating myself and others. I never ever understand how to chill, everything HAD to be intense. Happy. Sad. angry. Worried. Excited. Every. Single. Emotion. Now it's just "Oh ok can." Nothing else really matters, unless I'm taken advantage of or people riding over my head.

Maybe I just stopped caring?

Maybe, I'm just tired of caring so much when I don't even get the response intended. Like for example, I initiate and suggest things, I'll end up getting cold answers and feel desperate in wanting to prove it to a certain person. Ended up feeling so darn exhausted and dejected. What is the point?

My heart and brain finally decided to work hand-in-hand. I'll only care for those who does. And if somebody wants something from me, they gotta work for it. I'm not a fucking charity who gives emotionally, energy and money. 3 chances is all a person gets.

Nowadays, I'm only being different to one person (not a good way). Yes, I can state very clearly, one person. Because I've given that person more than 3 chances and I'm taken for granted every single time. I'm always by your side, giving care and concern, thinking "One day you will treat me the way I treat her, you definitely will." How naive of me huh? That part of me that cares for you, just died.

Everytime you talk to me, my first reaction will be: Fucking leave me alone already!

Next, I'll force myself to answer in what I deem the most acceptable way. Also, whatever you suggested, I'm just listening half-heartedly and agree. There's no way whatever you said, will ever happen. Like I've said, talk is not just cheap, it's practically free. So if that's the way you handled things before, then that's what you gonna get too. You gave me fake hopes in the past, you gonna get them back too. It's called payback, my dear. And you feeling all helpless and lonely now or something? That's your fucking karma :)

Of course, I'm so super grateful for all the wonderful people around me. *spams luv* I may have repeated this many times, but it's really the shitty people that let you see who are the awesome ones around you. I will never give up you guys for anything in the world. Even those whom I'm not close to, as long as you make me feel comfy around you, YOU TOTALLY ROCK.

Now that I've spat out some recent thoughts, I absolutely cannot wait for rest of the week. I'm sure it'll be fantastic, as long as you're nowhere near me. Thank God.

What I thought about H&M?
Defo a fresh new brand in SG finally, but don't really think it's worth all the hype. Sure, it's accessories are fanastic and they carry a wide range of items. But the way the girls were grabbing the items, it was like all were super cheap (but they are not) and the prices is similar to New Look prices. I'll highly recommend the shoes & accessories though, super to my liking. The queue for the fitting rooms and at cashier ccounters, TOO DAMN INSANE. Nuts please, I was suffocating in the first 2 levels (for ladies) and only the 3rd level (for men & kids) was slightly better. Left w/o getting any a single item, don't really think queuing up for a couple of items only is worth it.

So yupp, if you hate crowds and waiting, I suggest you pop down again in say 1 month's time? I think by then the crowd and curiousity should subside. Unless you're really dying to go, AVOID WEEKENDS. Can't imagine the queue and crowd during weekends, when on a monday, it was bad enough. Good luck girls and boys! x
